OOTD: Rainy Day

A rainy day? On a Caribbean island? Yeah, it's as rare as it sounds. That's why I had to take the opportunity to try out an autumn/fall outfit.

I woke up to that gentle pitter patter of raindrops on the rooftop above me, the scent of dampened soil and the embrace of my comforter. Do I really want to leave bed today? In Barbados, we tend not to do much when it rains. The traffic is slower, people don't turn up to class and everything is very drab. Then a thought sparked inside of me and I remembered the long-sleeved Zara shirt I've been dying to wear since I got it. An hour later, this outfit was born. Before leaving, my mother insisted I grabbed a jacket so I grabbed this one that belongs to my boyfriend. It kept me warm and looked nice wrapped around my waist.  Also. if it wasn't obvious, I changed my hair colour again. I loved being blonde but I got bored of it and switched to venomous purple locks. Let's see how long this lasts!
